Book #7: The Borrowers

The Borrowers by Mary Norton
Quote: "Upstairs is a dangerous place," said Pod. "And you, Arrietty, you're all we've got, see? It isn't like Hendreary he still has two of his own and two of hers. Once," said Pod, "Hendreary had three, three of his own."
While I think this book translates much better to a visual format, it was still a fun book. I love all the illustrations throughout. Pod, Arrietty, and the boy were engaging although Homily just seemed like a horribly greedy and selfish little borrower and I didn't like her at all.
