Rough week!
WOW, it sure has been a rough week.
It all started on Monday, my first day of classes and work. I had class from 8-11am and was supposed to be at work by 11:30am. Well, my lift on my van decided to break during class. So, I had some friends from class help me in my van and then spent time trying to figure out what to do. Thankfully, Phoenix met me at my job and helped me out of my van. I went in and did some work while Phoenix tried to fix it. No such luck, so Phoenix, the lifesaver that she is, took my van to the shop and stayed there with it while they fixed it, and then brought it back to me at work. She took time off work to do all of this all so I could be there on my first day of work. THANK YOU!!!!!!!! While all of this with my van is going on, people at work are trying to put software for the database I'll be using on my computer which involves upgrading my windows XP home edition to professional. Well that didn't go so well and my computer was (and still is) really messed up. After work, I went to class and then came home. I had a rough day and just wanted to play computer games and check my email. Well, I couldn't cuz my computer wasn't in good shape, so instead, I spent two hours backing up all of my files.
Tuesday, I went to work for a couple hours and then headed off to class. In class we got divided into groups that we will be doing 4 out of 5 assignments with throughout the semester. I got in a group with certain individuals that I have been in a group with before who didn't really pull their weight or contribute that much. I am so worried about this! I don't have the time to put in the extra work this semester with working full time so I don't know how this is going to work. After class, I went back to work and then came home, relaxed, and went to bed early.
Wednesday, I spent all day at work. Around 3pm, I got a headache, but worked through it. By the time I got home, it was killing me. I took some T3 and spent the evening on the couch. Right before bed, I got really sick to my stomach and my head started to hurt again. Needless to say, it was a long miserable night.
Thursday, I got up, went to work, and within an hour, my head started to hurt again. I tried to work through it, but ended up going home early. I took a three hour nap and then felt better.
Friday, my head was hurting again, but I made it through the day at work.
Yesterday, we went down to Dom's parents to pick up Dakota. It was a nice visit; however, my head was killing me and I got sick to my stomach again. I spent some time laying down with a puke bucket and then I felt a little better. So, we hit the road to come home, but on the way home, my head was killing me again. I took some more T3 when I got home, laid on the couch, and then went to bed.
Today my head hurts again. I am so worried because the type of pain is the same type of pain I had last year around this time when I had a headache every day and they did all those CTs on my head, tried different meds, and couldn't figure out what it was. Well three months later, the headaches went away. I can't afford to have these headaches for three months again. I am going to see my neurologist on the 27th, so I am going to talk to her about them and I HOPE she can figure out what is going on and make it better. I seriously cannot go on with these.
Despite all of that, I did have a good week at work. I am going to love my job! I already do and I am just starting to get into it. Theresa and I share an office and it is wonderful! I love MDRC, I love the people there, I love what I am going to be doing, I just love everything about it.
Well I should be going. I have a ton of homework to get done the next two days granted I can get rid of the headaches enough to focus.
