So, I told Dad about wanting to ask Lily to marry me, and he gave me Mom's ring, which had been Grandmama's, and so on. We had a chat--I was quite touched, actually.
Anyway, here it is. And if when Lily says yes, and we set a date and all that, I'm thinking we can buy new wedding bands, so there's a bit of the old and a bit of the new.
Valentine's will be the day, it looks like.
I am more nervous about this than anything I've done before. And a bit scared. That's new.
