More Urban Adventures

I wasn't too motivated to update for awhile, but here it goes:

Conclusion of SVA Summer Film Program

The last week of SVA was editing week, which was by far my favorite week of them all. It was a week of chilling out with awesome G5 Apple Computers and some superb air conditioning. My group was missing footage and we didn't get it until Wednesday, setting us back 2 days behind everyone else. We literally finished editing our film at the last minute on friday, and we were thrown out of the editing room. During the screening later that night my mom and my aunt came to check out the goods. Before the film reel was the computer animation and hand animation reel. I was quite impressed with what those kids did in 3 weeks. I sorta wish I took computer animation, but I feel film was more important, because that is what I want to pursue. Anyway, so after watching all of the films from my class, I feel mine was one of the best if not the best (mostly because of editing), and that is saying a lot because I am usually embarassed beyond belief when it comes to things I make and I usually destroy them before anyone gets to see. Anyway, as soon as I get the DVD of my film in the mail I will upload it for the world to see.

NJ Weeks

I don't remember anything that happened, except for someone soiling my basement floor and downstairs bathroom.
...he cleaned it up though.

NYC-Revisited

I went back up to the city about 2 weeks ago to go hit up museums with my aunt. I think I went up last Tuesday, and I snuck Corrine into the city. We pretty much hit up the places that I usually spent my time during SVA and then we concluded with a revisiting of Times Square (awful place). The next day my aunt took me to many museums, the only memorable one being The Metropolitan. It had an awesome panoramic view of the city from the roof. Anyway, the next day I left my aunt to return home, but I made a detour to the Schubert Theater to purchase a ticket for Monty Python's Spamalot. By God's handywork, I managed to get a ticket for September instead of November, which was the next available month for tickets.

NYC-Revisited Again

I went back up to the city again on Tuesday night this week. I watched a boring play with my aunt, then the next day we went to The Guggenheim and some other place I forget. Then we went shopping and I bought the Monty Python Instant CD Collection Box Set. 6 CDs = 10 Records = 6.6 Hours of Monty Python. On Wednesday we went all the way down to the Native American Museum at the very bottom tip of Manahatan which was in an amazing old building. Then we walked through battery park, where I bumped into a really really pretty girl and she smiled at me. If I wasn't with my aunt and if she wasn't with what seemed to be her father, I would've introduced myself or something. Anyway, my aunt and me took a bus and I passed the World Trade Lot and my dad's former office building. We went for a china-town lunch and I had some bubble tea. I went home and retrieved my 14 Disc Bootleg of Monty Python's Flying Circus from Rich.

I have enough Monty Python to last me a lifetime.

I told my dad this morning that Lisa was coming over and stay a few nights. Any he simply said "Okay. " And then walked away. I love my parents.
