You can tell everybody this is your song...

It feels weird, but here I am, sitting at a computer inside the UCF library. Currently in the third floor since all the PCs down on the second floor where occupied. It’s been two years since I left Florida, and nothing has changed. A few businesses have gone and a few new buildings have been added, but it’s still the same way I left it.

Baldwin Park as grown over the years, a Hell of a lot. They got houses that look like plantation homes and monuments. It is ridiculous. They filled the place up with old retired people and snobs. Hama’s old school [the old building] has been demolished. The new building still looks the same. Our old apartment complex is still the same too. It’s amazing.

The flight to Orlando was pretty cool. Take off was smooth. We had Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for the in-flight movie. Had some mini-pretzels [I guess the cut the peanuts considering that some people are allergic to them] and a nice glass of Orange Juice. I was listening to my CD player, until the batteries died out on me. Then I switched over to my Ipod Shuffle. Hama was watching Potter. I was between watching the clouds out the window, watching the movie and getting a few minutes of sleep. It was a relaxing flight. Landing was a little bumpy, but we survived. Afterwards we went to the car rental place. [As a note for future car renters, do NOT rent a car from Hertz. They were charging us the same amount we are paying now for 5 days for 1 day. It is ridiculous.] We got a nice little red Hyundai Accent. It feels and drives just like our old Toyota. It seems when we reach Orlando, we loose the high SUVs.

Then, we were starving so we went to Bennigan’s, over on Colonial. Had ourselves some nice Potato Soup and chicken. It was like the old days. Drove around the old school area and Baldwin Park. Last we went to Priscillas’ house, where we are staying, and talked a bunch about life and everything that has happened in two years.

Now I am sitting in the library, waiting for Hama to return from visiting her father. It’s a regular day around here.

Hope everything is good on your end.
Stay frosty. Stay sharp[e].
