Haha so this is a great story, it was so freaking intense:
I went for a ride in the new C6 Corvette z06 last night. The guy that was driving (who I will keep anonymous) I had just met that night, but he took me for a ride in the car. It was fucking amazing, it goes 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and ALL IN FIRST GEAR! He gunned it a few times on a straight part of the road, then we went towards the freeway. We get on the entrance ramp, and give some space between us and the car infront of us (like A LOT of space) and then he guns it. 0-60 in first, we got up to like 65 and then he shifts into 2nd. I was so immersed with how fast the car accelerates I was in awe, I think we get up to 90ish and then he shifted into 3rd. In any case, when he shifted into 3rd the back end lost all it's traction and fish tailed towards the driver's side. He counter steered and we started fish tailing towards the passenger side, then fishtailed to the driver side, so we were facing a ditch and we went off the road and into the dirt and weeds and I'm just staring at that ditch knowing if he hits it, the car's totalled as well as both of us prolly not walking away from this... at the very last second, he got it to pull away, we 360ed across the shoulder and came to a stop, the car stalled, facing the correct way on m53 facing south in the right lane, thankfully no one behind us. The car was totally locked up, and took quite a few tries to get it to start up. Needless to say, I about shit my pants, but in after thought it was fucking awesome.
Aside from that, not much has been going on. I went and saw Land of the Dead (which makes my 3rd movie in like 8 days) last night with Alayna and Erin. I think they're comin over tonight for a little "party" while the parents are gone. Saturday I don't know what I'm doing during the day, Rachel might come over later in the evening... that should be good times, haha. She's pretty cool, we've been texting back and forth while she's been gone for volleyball the past few days... she says I really have her hooked. One night of making out in the theaters and I have her hooked? (*Cartman Voice*) Shwwweeeeet. I like her, she has a good personality and doesn't seem to have many [if any] issues, which is hard to find in a girl anymore (no offense to the girls that read this), and we seem to have hit it off. The age is a little bit of a problem, but hey when she hits that birthday everything will be ok, right? lol. Its only 3 years. But yeah, so hopefully Rach will be able to come over, cause that'd be cool. It sucks, seriously, so bad that the one time my parents actually leave on vacation (the one thing I've been wanting to happen in like FOREVER to have the whole house to my self for more than one day), I have no one to fool around with and take advantage of the situation. That's probably why they left, because they knew I couldn't do anything. Bah.
No car shows this weekend, that I know of. Not too sure. I want to go to my grandparents house and visit with them for a bit on Sunday, maybe Saturday.. depends if there's any shows. Aside from that, a really relaxing and good weekend for me. It's funny, because it's not like my weekend ever really involves too much "family time" except at dinner, but yet since my parents are gone it feels like this big empty time to fill. I like it, I warned them before they left that I might like it too much and want to move out lol. :-)
OH! And I've started playing my keyboard again. I played the whole first verse and chorus of Elton John - Candle in the Wind, since it's the only song I can find my sheet music to. I lost the whole green composition book, sure hope I didn't throw it out. It had all my songs that I was learning in there, Funeral for a Friend, Journey - Faithfully, and tons of others I can't even remember. :-( Hopefully I find it. Well, that's all for now. Lates.
