i was reading the relix trey interview, and realized that phish started when they were 18. freaking 18! makes me excited cause that means i'm still capable of great things, and very weary that i'll make too many mistakes to get anywhere at all. but to be capable of doing all that by 40??? makes 40 look painfully close somehow. things are moving really quickly towards wrinkles. i look forward to summer like last night skipping butler studying time for sweaterless sweatless warm dancing in turquoise on stone benches to stereos playing floyd under dusky dust bowl night. my interests are muddy feet. is there ever a place that we reach where we no longer look forward to the end of days/commitments/exams and just accept/coast/float?
