11th Post of Awesome! (J-Rockers and Their Natural Beauty...)
Now, we all know that J-Rockers certainly have a special look to them, especially the ones that are labled as 'Visual Kei'.
First off, I just want to state that not all J-Rockers are Visual Kei, and not all Visual Kei is Rock. In fact, there's a huge misunderstanding here that I would love to clear up, so I'm going to do so now. I promise it won't take long. ;]
Basically, I really, really, really hate the word 'Visual Kei' when it is tagged onto bands as their genre. People, Visual Kei is NOT, I repeat, NOT a style of music, but just the band's style in general. I've lost count of how many people have said to me that they "don't listen to Visual Kei music". Everytime I hear that I just wanna punch them in the head! Visual Kei is simply that; visualism. It's not a genre of music. Truth be told, a lot of bands placed under the Visual Kei title can't even be placed in a single genre because of the wide range of their music; from soft ballads to punck rock; from up-tempo dance tunes to throttling metal... there is no one genre that they feel the need to stick to and often a Visual Kei band's music changes steadily over time.
Anyways... That's my short little rant on Visual Kei...
SO! Onto the original intention of this post... I plan to show you different J-Rockers and the beauty that they possess! I can't help it... I'm obsessed with pretty men and their cute little quirks! So... onto the parade!

1. HYDE
Okay... So we all know I love HYDE. I defintely think his voice is number one, although I can agree to disagree as I'm sure there are others who think differently. :D The point is that he does have a great voice. Anyways, this man seems to be timeless. I'm sure he's starting to show his age just a little bit, but that only makes me appreciate his beautiful face all the more. He's 40 years old now and still looks as dashing, if not more, as he was 20 years ago. And that's without makeup my friends. :D
2. Shou
Okay... so its no secret that Shou-kun here is no newbie to the whole "be freaking GORGEOUS" game. He's tall, slender (like... perfectly...), and has a collection of my favourite traits: Big lips, slender brows, and eyes you could lose yourself in. On top of that, he's got the voice of an angel. Sure, its unique and different, but I love it. I also love how human Shou is... right down to the funny way he talks and how he has trouble saying 'tofu'. His subtle weakness (speech problems) makes him relatable in a sense and I feel that what he has accomplished is just that much more important. Also, he fits this list because he's also a VERY dashing man without the eyeliner.
BTW... I noticed this while going through some of my Shou pictures, but... He looks kinda buff from a side view! I mean, he's so tall and so flippin' skinny... its hard to imagine! Oh, and I'm inlove with the Shou/Cake picture he's just too damn cute to mess with! See!? Makeupless J-Rockers are WIN!
3. Ruki
As you can see... He's sex. I love his face an exaggerated features, like the soft lips and slightly large nose... And something about him seems dangerous... Despite him being incredibly short! And his voice, soft and hard... the perfectly controlled slow vibrato... his voice constantly sounding so sorrowful! Gyaah!
And he just so happens to be a totally adorable little guy when he's makeupless!
4. Kai
So... This is the ONLY serious picture I have of the drummer... because truth be told this kid cannot take a serious picture... And I absolutely love that about him! Stuck in a band of hard core dudes, he's the smiling idiot that always keeps everyone's morale up!
Just LOOK at him! He's SO FREAKING CUTE! And he has the most adorable laugh and adorable dimple in the world! KYAAAAA!
5. Jasmine You
Okay... I dunno about you guys, but when I first seen this dude I was like "MOMMY!" *runs away*. I'm not sure why, but he just plain creeps me out! SCARY! However... there's a damn good reason he makes this list, and its not just because he's a brilliant bassist...
I don't know how firm of a believe you all are in moments of silence, but I thoroughly respect them... I believe that a moment of silence is needed for Jasmine You, who passed away last month. He was a brilliant bassist who always thought of his fans first and foremost, often referring to them as "his roses". His passing is a tragic loss and a deep and heavy blow to the symphonic metal, philharmonic quartet Versailles. Your death is a tragedy, Jasmine... and we will remember you always in your music.
6. Satoshi
On that somber note... Satoshi! I really like this guy's voice... and its steadily improving! He's very good at switching from hard rock to soft falsetto with his voice and even though its not the best voice around I'm very excited to see how good he'll get! Especially with it only getting better and better with every new song!
I can't say for sure... but I DO know that from the videos and pictures I've seen of this guy... He seems like an extremely fun and likeable dude to be around. He's always laughing and making jokes in the backstage videos and in most pics of him backstage or whatnot he seems like he's in a generally good mood. I appreciate people like that! Hehe...
7. Hitsugi
Okay... I don't care who you are! ANYONE can be surprised by this guy's appearance. I dig outlandish men, but when I saw this I was like "EEYAAAA! Don't eat me!" I don't listen to the band Nightmare very much... Actually, not really at all, but I looked into this guy because I was curious as to how many piercings he had... And you will now see why this little sucker made this list.
I cannot believe how handsome this guy is! And I really can't find another way to describe him! His face is very smooth and has a strong jawline, like a sort of knight in shining armor appeal. Maybe I'm just crazy, but he looks like he'd be an amazing protector... some kind of dude you'd snuggle up against if you want to feel safe.

So, there you have it... My list of naturally pretty men! Of course, we all love their done-up side as well, but I love natural beauty. Something about its raw looks makes me wanna jump these poor dudes.
