When I went to feed the cats tonight, for a moment I thought, "Oh, I forgot Modi's pill." Modi was not a cat. I didn't even feed him at the same time as the cats.

I suspect it's because we're heading to Summer's End in a week. An event I love, but one that is also full of good byes. It isn't Samhain, but the veil feels very thin these days.
