I see monday is supposed to warm up to -8C. Sure it'll be snowy but it'll also be WARM. I know I got a whole bunch of thermal under- and outerwear for Christmas but just because I have it doesn't mean I want to use it! Besides, I can only take so many days of -43C windchills in a winter; too many of those days make me delusional and long for tropical, equatorial heat, which is horribly bad for my health.
Update: Because my weather is so exciting... It is now -36C with a -51 windchill at 4:42am. This is why I usually go to sleep before midnight; if I don't know how cold it really gets at night, the days seem much better.
