here we stand
strong before you
a smile painted upon our metal faces
look upon us, strange one
there is but one request
smile
why do you fear us
do not tremble
smile
i from the center
drive a steel stake into your shoulder
from five hundred miles an hour to you
there is but one request
smile
your blood lies upon you
cool to the touch and of a grayish pallor
smile
i from the left
wait patiently for you
compassion is my virtue
but i see none, and i nail you below your heart
there is but one request
smile
watch your heathen force drip
my patience is through
smile
i from the right
look upon you with shame
for i am the third you fail to a needling shot
there is but one request
smile
it tugs at the corner of your mouth
and it makes you one of us
smile
we see it now
you smile so well
but you break your gaze
and they light up before us
it is a cool feeling
is it not
you trickle unto the floor
of the platform
leaving your gray pallor everywhere
there is but one request
smile
spike after needle after stake after thrust
from five hundred miles to your body
you chose not to honor us
and you shall pay with yourself
you cover your heathenself
with your heathenself
as long as your heart continues
there is but one request
smile
as long as your heart continues
you choose to disobey
as if your bodily torture is stopping you
your self paralyzes you with fear
you stand in a puddle of you
and we ask you again
with a razor sharp proposition
there is but one request
smile
as we become darker in your eyes
as you judge us unworthy of you
smile
