It's pronounced like "Milo," so yes. My mom got creative and gave it a more "German" spelling.

God, I love that most people are getting it right from the spelling. When people hear it they never spell it right, but most people read it correctly. (Except for around here, I've had more than enough teachers call me "Mee-low," and that shit is irritating. Damn you, Texas.)

Huh, first time I've ever gotten THAT particular pronunciation, but now that I think about it, that would be how the Chinese would say it. Now that I think even MORE about it, that was what my Chinese teacher used to call me, but I didn't think about it because he gave all of us Chinese names anyway. I was Mei-luo (pronounced may-lwoh). *shrug*
