Drinking is alright as long as you don't mind the taste and you know where to stop. Smoking up, not so fun for me, but I barely had half a bowl anyway and most of it was stems and seeds. And there's my experience. *shrug*

It's supposed to be kind of confusing, especially Chance's point of view. I also wanted to capture the confusion of those kinds of parties, because goddamn does it get claustrophobic when we have a large group of friends over getting wasted. Which is why when people puke, everyone disappears.

Reading this is not-so oddly sobering. I haven't read nonfiction or 'based on a true story' in quite a while, and definitely not when it's about someone I sort of know, so it definitely gives it a new perspective.

Just for the record, I am reading/keeping up with this, and I'll probably leave a long ass comment again when it's over, but I just thought I'd let you know I am reading it.

I definitely don't read many myself, but they're pretty fun to write, especially when you have an interesting/depressing life. Or interesting/depressed friends. Haha.

I would say he's unreliable to an extent. He tells it how he sees it. Now if that's not exactly how someone else sees it, that's not his fault. But, yeah, I guess you could say he's a bit unreliable. Not to mention he skips over bits and pieces and forgets things.
