The Toronto Film Festival 2007 came... and it went.
Last year I volunteered and saw many films, and this year I didn't volunteer at all.
But I did, at least, catch a flick.

Despite it an Australian film, this was a great movie. And I learned plenty about Houdini I never would have known either. (I never knew he was killed by a ruptured appendix due to several blows to his abdomen given to him by a McGill student in Montreal. XD; )

"Beware of Montreal students. Especially red-haired ones." as Gillian Armstrong, the director, told the audience after the film.

Best part? I sat right behind Guy Pierce (Houdini) and the girl who plays Benji the little girl, Saoirse Ronan. Just, wow. The difference in real life appearance makes in comparison to the screen.

Shannon was a great sport to go at the last minute. Hopefully I will volunteer next year, along with half the people I know. Heh...
