In the scene for the drama "Sugata Sanshirou" is what I think of. The day I joined filming at the location, it was mostly raining. Firstly, we filmed on the first day because of rain. "Maybe, Kato-kun is a rain man~?" or something, everyone's mood became brighter once that was said. But, because of the rain everyday, it was really a pain (tears). Only on the day that we finished shooting, gradually it cleared up and started to be sunny. It's a bit late!

For several years, I don't use a vinyl umbrella.

A
Kinki Kids-san's "Ai no Melody". During Jr.period, as a back-up dancer, dancing, hearing the intro, even now my body reacts to the song.

Every day, I check my cell phone. It seems like a habit. But if there is a rain mark, the time that it apears, and it rains, I don't carry an umbrella.

When do you think "The rain is good"?
A
I don't think that. Rain is something I don't want. For example, to care about a girl who's walking, and then it suddenly starts to rain, "Then, maybe go have tea, the rain gets harder so we have to wait". It's a bit cliched, this kinda of development, but it's not bad. Yup, not bad. (laugh)

Tell us about your recent condition.
A
I've been working hard wth the drama "Hokaben"! My role is a newcomer having to be a defence lawyer. Finally, an intellectual role has come~. It's a role where you have to use your head and not your body many times. (laugh) The atmosphere on schene was really good, the story is interesting, and every time I get the script, it's enjoyment. Law and trials needed to be handled as work, and also what kind of fun person do you get to work with I think. By the way, now there are lots of room I work in on location because of the it hasn't rained (laugh).

A
The first time I heard it, I was happy with it. It's a song about summer which is comming, and not having to wait anymore. If sung at karaoke, ther's a good rap point. Because the voices are unique, always become louder is what I think. The PV has a fresh image. Yamashita-kun and me pair up however, and our actions are mostly ad-lib. I usually argue about what needs to be cut and stuff like that, but mood is reflected well.

A
Several years in the summer, I go with Koyama on a trip to Hawai. We also go to Okinawa, but this year what about Bali? And, Australia to snowboard! Ah, Koyama is a guy that can't snowboard.

A
This is really talk about when I was smaller. I ran and fell (laugh). I think my mom was around where I was, and I slid with wet hands, ran to the pathway with a stain. I really fell on the dirty mud, however the wound is no longer there, that's good memories.

A
Generally, I use a vinyl umbrella. You know, the umbrella I carry when I walk I don't really like because it always rains when I buy something.

A
Just as I thought, right now, it's the movie "Kurosagi"! Just before, With Yamapi and Shige, us 3, we went to see the movie. When it was over, we immediately went next to Yamapi and said "It was really amusing!" The thoughts were conveyed, "Good, that's a relief" he said. Actually, it seemed that Yamapi was very nervous about what we thought about it.

When it rains, I wear shoes. Block cloth with gold threaded embroidered sneakers. When they get wet, ther's this coolness, and the clothes just seem to come together with them. Weather has nothing to do with it. Sometimes, I'll wear dark/gloomy clothes to suit it.

A
Lemon. I like hard candy better than gum (laugh). The reason is because after you finsh eating and you put the remainder into the garbage can, which you don't look for when you're done with it. I like hard candy better.

A
(After four months covering an event) For the butai/stage play "Lost Time Life" I've been trying my best. Yesterday, I went to dinner with Shige. I had a Japanese-style meal. Once recording began, it became busier. "I'll try my best." (laugh).

A
This time also, it's a NEWS song about summer, a really good tune. It's fun to sing, and it's fun to listen to...this kind of tune. When the PV was shot, the set was a beach house, the 6 of us freely play. Before filming, everyone's tension kept getting higher till the end. Please watch the PV!

What are your memories of "SUMMER TIME"?
A
Memories of summer? Suddenly, I'm reminded of a summer while I was still a Jr. That time, every year, I went with Yokoo-kun* to the beach. The two of us would go to the beach. And so, we'd wake up when it was still dark out (laugh). This year, I want to go overseas in the summer to fully enjoy it. Hawaii and Guam are good, however, Bali! It kind of has a celebrity resort kind of mood which seems fun, right?

A
Last year, with my friend, the two of us went on a trip to Okinawa for 3 days and 2 nights. However, the whole time, it rained...raining a lot, with effort to come to Okinawa, we still tried to have fun and play. And so, because of the heavy rain and thunder, we went snorkeling inside. The indoor beach was extremely beautiful, there was even a lot of fish, "Uwaa~!" I said, because I was excited. And afterwards, we also went scuba diving but, it was also beautiful. The transparency of the amazing indoor beach, even though seeing the threatening sky was fantastic.

Now, What kind of umbrella do you use?
A
None. In our house, ther isn't even one. Basically, I don't use an umbrella. When it's pouring, I run (laugh). For example for drama scenes, or magazine photographing, I can't get wet because I use an umbrella. So, when I wear normal clothes, I run! I don't need to get wet.

Inoue Yousui-san's "Kasa ga Nai/No Umbrella". In the olden days, when my mother worked she had a co-worker as a friend. In that house, the family rarely did karaoke together. And so, that person was "No umbrella" and "no hair" type of person that sang. (laugh)

I don't worry about the weather...last year's trip to Okinawa was like that. The truth is that I just don't worry about things like that.

Basically, rain and clear weather together. But, shoes are the only thing I buy that doesn't have to do with the weather. I don't wear stuff like a raincoat. Ah~ yesterday's "HEY!HEY!HEY!" special recording, it rained during rehearsal, but I didn't wear a raincoat. There was an outdoor stage. Afterwards, we went to "Music Station" to sing "Taiyou no Namida" and became soaking wet. During the rehearsal, I wore a raincoat. Raincoats are a bit stuffy...

A
Filming of "Last Friends" every day. The scenes have a good atmosphere. The other day, appearing together with Eita-kun we arm wrestled! So, I lost. It's quite embarrassing...But he told me, "Your left hand is strong, Nishikido-kun." (laugh) At the scene, I talked. Before filming, magazines said "You don't talk,
you don't talk". Everyone's reactions seemed like I really really had to talk. (laugh).

For work, there are lots of times it rained. In the movie, "Kurosagi" there was a large quantity of rain that fell (laugh). Photographing is great, but since there is rain, it's a sad and emphasism became good I think. And also, don't you think I match the rain? (laugh)

I worry! I watch the weather forecast for the coming week, that's when I check. The same day when they say, "It will be clear" I'm happy~! Tension rises (laugh) On days when it's sunny, I go shopping and have fun.

I think that when it rains it is good because more rice is grown! (laugh) I feel there is a reason for that moment - of rain. Because if it didn't rain, there'd be nothing to eat, right? Therefore, in reality, when it rains, it is better than when it doesn't rain...

I don't think there is one~. To have sombody to control the weather is not really possible. By the way, I am definitely a clear weather man! Before the making of the drama, a bit before leaving the location, it rained. Because I was there, unexpectedly, cloud's began to rift and rain appeared. That time, I really believe I was the clear weather man!

Lately, going to the gym, I'm improving. In the morning, I wake up early, and regularly question myself to do something. Ah, yesterday along with Shige, we went to the metropolitan area and drove! We ate and then went to Shige's house incidentally.

The previous work "Taiyou no Namida" changed the mood and was different. But this time, it's a fresh good tune! When hearing this tune, and being ready for summer, there's no mistake! Every year I go to the beach. Last year also, with my friends, I went to the beach, we had a barbeque, and it was fun! Summer is my favorite season because with summer, you can't help but to look forward to it! This year also, I want to go to the beach!

It's about the time in my 3rd or 4th year of elementary school. After school, it started to rain. Therefore, I saw the girl I like getting wet with rain on the way home. At that time's scenery, I can remember it clearly.

A
Usually, it's only soccer. Because of the climate, it is good for the body and health. When my schedule is big, 3 times a week I'll participate in different teams. However if I want to go participate in a tournament, I need to tell them beforehand or I won't be able to because it is difficult. This is, except for guitar practice. I want to get better!

Longing for it to become summer, it's a very fresh tune. The moment I heard it, I wanted to go to the beach. One time I heard it, and quickly rememberd it, I think. It's not technique but having an obedient feeling; a cheerful song. Also for the PV, I still haven't seen the complete version, though the image was spontaneous. The members played together and were able to harmonise. Within the musical tune, the one story is wanting to completing something. Once summer ends, you want to be together...It's a great story for a long song.

Every year during the summer, 3 of us will gather, and go to the pool at the beach. Last year, we went to the beach, however, the "Shabake" staff said that I couldn't get a suntan! So, I painted myself with sunscreen and was careful when I played (laugh).

During elementary school at a day before an athletic meet, a Buddhist priest was bought in to make it not rain that day. Rolling up a tissue and giving it to someone. The result I forgot. But there's still so many years to make more memories.

I don't use it very often, but like when I'm at a convenience store they sell them, chea~p vinyl umbrellas. But, they're the disposeable kind. When it rains, I carry it back home. A
Some time ago in the studio stairway, I fell down. I fell to the lowest step because I kind of missed my footing. Once I become an adult, and I have a wife, she'll take care of me if this happens. I guess that won't really happen. Though it's painful, in a long time it won't be shocking and will seem fresh. (laugh)

A
It's a well set up song. When I first heard it, it seemed to flow with the scenery. This kinda of feeling is carefree and a good song to want to listen to. It seems to be suitable as a song to listen to while driving. It's a very enthusiastic and cute love song. The first time I heard the overall song, the melody, and the song lyrics, I was very happy with it. The PV had a house-style studio where we recorded. We all played normally and it was filmed. I think the tune came together.

A
What did I do last summer?...Oh, I know, the entertainment show "MachiMASU"'s practice! It was a ver~y hot day. The stage at the showing was reflected in the recording. Japan also was very hot. Staff-san and I both, along with everybody, were dripping with sweat during the recording. It was extremely hot. But next summer is almost here. It's fast~.

Memories of summer? Suddenly, I'm reminded of a summer while I was still a Jr. That time, every year, I went with Yokoo-kun* to the beach. The two of us would go to the beach. And so, we'd wake up when it was still dark out (laugh). This year, I want to go overseas in the summer to fully enjoy it. Hawaii and Guam are good, however, Bali! It kind of has a celebrity resort kind of mood which seems fun, right?

Last year, with my friend, the two of us went on a trip to Okinawa for 3 days and 2 nights. However, the whole time, it rained...raining a lot, with effort to come to Okinawa, we still tried to have fun and play. And so, because of the heavy rain and thunder, we went snorkeling inside. The indoor beach was extremely beautiful, there was even a lot of fish, "Uwaa~!" I said, because I was excited. And afterwards, we also went scuba diving but, it was also beautiful. The transparency of the amazing indoor beach, even though seeing the threatening sky was fantastic.

None. In our house, ther isn't even one. Basically, I don't use an umbrella. When it's pouring, I run (laugh). For example for drama scenes, or magazine photographing, I can't get wet because I use an umbrella. So, when I wear normal clothes, I run! I don't need to get wet.

Longing for it to become summer, it's a very fresh tune. The moment I heard it, I wanted to go to the beach. One time I heard it, and quickly rememberd it, I think. It's not technique but having an obedient feeling; a cheerful song. Also for the PV, I still haven't seen the complete version, though the image was spontaneous. The members played together and were able to harmonise. Within the musical tune, the one story is wanting to completing something. Once summer ends, you want to be together...It's a great story for a long song.

It's a well set up song. When I first heard it, it seemed to flow with the scenery. This kinda of feeling is carefree and a good song to want to listen to. It seems to be suitable as a song to listen to while driving. It's a very enthusiastic and cute love song. The first time I heard the overall song, the melody, and the song lyrics, I was very happy with it. The PV had a house-style studio where we recorded. We all played normally and it was filmed. I think the tune came together.

What did I do last summer?...Oh, I know, the entertainment show "MachiMASU"'s practice! It was a ver~y hot day. The stage at the showing was reflected in the recording. Japan also was very hot.
