Shounen Club 2007.09.02
The only thing unfortunate about this episode is that Hey! Say! JUMP hasn't been formed yet. They're only still introducing Hey! Say! 7. And Ya-ya-yah's still around. XD To think this was all only two years ago, ne...
Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of juniors, so I skip the medleys. But I did notice a few things...like the fact that Hasshi used to be in J.J.Express, I didn't realize he was around, for that long. XD I'd assume he was a newbie that got randomly added to ABC. ^^" ABC used real pointy swords while dancing to Samurai. Apparently, Morimoto Shintaro and Morimoto Ryotarou have sung together before~
So, Apparently, we find out that Hey! Say! 7 has just been formed. Hey! Say! comes from all the members being born in the Heisei Era, and the 7 comes from the fact that they were created in 2007. And everyone's ages ranges from 13 to 17. Nakamaru even seems to think he's part of the group.
So my favorite part of the episode comes around, where the gues comes and sings. Yep, it's Jin's performance of 'Pinky'. I've nothing to say except his dancing is awesomeness, and so is his singing...overall, he is awesome. XD I would've capped more, but I'm sure you'd see the bias all the same.
So, it's his first time to be on Shounen Club as a guest. But in general, since he was gone for 6 months to America, there was a lot of encounters he had with lots of foreigners. He learned a lot, and when he came back, he was met with a sad meeting - meeting Nakamaru again. And Maru says that's rude to say. XD Jin even tried a full-course of golf. Apparently, Aiba does it too, golf I mean. But starting to do it, doesn't mean it's become his hobby. He's still looking for a hobby. So, when did they three first met? Jin can't remember how he met Maru. Apparently, Jin looks at Maru and asks him if his eyes look swelled up or something. And, Kei-chan says that the first time he met Jin was at another NHK studio. The first thing that came out of Jin's mouth was "Your eyes are narrow." Jin denies it. But Kei says, that since he's sang a few times with Jin, and so when he said it, because Jin was his senpai at the time, he just thanked him. Jin says again, that his eyes are narrow, and this time, Kei-chan tells him he's being annoying, though his eyes have gotten bigger.
Like always, they do this special segment...which I find is probably the best way to show off the new juniors. Because, it's a fun segment. Anyways, it starts off with "Pairs Limbo", a rolling game, and then a pull-ups match.
Tackey starts talking to the Juniors about his new project. He auditions them all, and kind of interviews them with random questions such as "What's your favorite word, and why?" and "Your Dream."
Ignoring the fact that juniors can't seem to introduce their senpai, but KAT-TUN sings Six Senses. It's still a song that I don't quite get the point of. But it still has an awesome beat. And if you watch previous performances of it, you can really see the improvement in Jin's english~
So, Koki was the surprise guest. It was fun, as if nothing's changed. Why was Koki winking at Kei-chan? XD And so it came to the final song "Burn it Up" sung by the juniors, as well as the three member of KAT-TUN, and Kei-chan. It was just funny throughout, because when one person would sing a solo part, the others were supposed to kneel. But they all seemed to have forgotten who was going to sing and it all looked disoriented. Jin's expression throughout the song is priceless, because it's obvious he doesn't know the song or seemingly what to do either.
