christmas on its way
Elementary continues to make me happy -- really liking Kitty more each episode, and glad the show seems to be reestablishing a good Joan and Sherlock dynamic despite showing them having a healthy, non-codependent relationship. I hope for Moriarty to return sometime this season!
MasterChef Junior also makes me happy, because the kids are precious, although I was heartbroken over who got sent home the most recent episode. My biases. :(
On the sports front, all my teams need to be less crap. I need a break from all that disappointment! So for December I'm rereading a couple excellent Harry/Draco fics from the days of hd_holidays and plan on Pterry's Hogfather next, to get into a suitable Christmas frame of mind. (I've finished most of my Christmas shopping! Just need to sit down this week sometime with my cards. With appropriate holiday music!)
I also found my scans of Slam Dunk and got my hands on the Ouran High School Host Club anime to have some other things to turn to in my free time. :)
So that's how the non-work time is passing; work isn't bad, though the topics in the news can be heavy. But the year is winding down, as crazy as that seems.
