they only love us when they're not busy hating us
Had a great time at the Caps FanFest yesterday with _la_belle_fille and celerywench and her little sister. Getting to watch the prospect dev camp final scrimmage was fun too but made me miss hockey so fucking much. Ugh, summer.
Slowly going out of my mind today. No sports. No news. No new fic. I can't make myself focus long enough to read a book or watch a movie.
So these are things I did today:
1. Watched basically all the Teen Wolf cast interviews on Youtube. Regrets? I have none. I've said it before and I'll say it again: THIS CAST IS A GIFT.
- TW Panel from 2012 ComicCon with main cast interactions, great fan interaction, plus bonus Sterek: Part 1 | Part 2 (enjoy the Colton fistpump)
- Main cast completely derailing the normal interview with talk about vocab and tattoos: Part 1 | Part 2 (and Posey asking inane questions)
- Main cast squeezed onto a tiny couch having lots of fun & being funny: "Get cosy with Posey! Get - get what with Hoechlin? What rhymes with Hoechlin?"
- Holland, Posey & Colton for TV guide: "It's literally like a threesome on the dance floor for no reason."
- Colton, Hoechlin & Holland: talking seriously and thoughtfully about the SF&F genre (also, Hoechlin's bulging muscles)
- Dylan O'Brien being really self-deprecating: "I've never experienced any other fans, because...I have no other work!" (talking about how TW fans are different from other fans)
I also had a gazillion feelings and thoughts and meta opinions but whatever. Cast interaction. ♥
2. Watched a few One Direction videos, including a ten minute compilation of them basically groping each other. I have concluded that they're adorable and look 14 and my brain can't handle that.
3. Watched a gazillion videos of Jeff Skinner scoring goals and NHL playoff montages and basically got emotional whiplash and a severe case of missing hockey. WHY ISN'T IT HOCKEY SEASON YET?

4. Contemplated rewatching The Dark Knight so I could remember what the hell happened in preparation for the TDKR but couldn't focus long enough for it so that's pushed back to sometime later this week.
5. Watching Political Animals right now. So far, intriguing.
