Hello, hello - this is the promised "introduction to Mei" post I said I'd be writing for all you new people (w-why are there so many of you?). Also, any old flisters who are curious! Really this is not that in depth and talks more about my fandom interests (I have a gazillion) than Who I Am As A Human Being, but I figure we have to leave some ( Read more... )

tagging things is a pain, i don't know how to feel about this, whatever dude, can no one shut me up?, pic-spamming, is this the reality you wanted?, meme bandwagon

hehe yes this is mostly for people who aren't all in-the-know via my RL journal. HOW WELL WE KNOW EACH OTHER NOW, isn't it awesome? (you should post more often so I may pry into your private life too ♥)

Ooh okay, let's see-- I'm going to take this as "five places I enjoy clothes-shopping" because really I enjoy shopping on Amazon or Half.com or...bookstores, haha.

1. Charlotte Russe! THEY HAVE THINGS MY SIZE. I LIKE BUYING PANTS FROM THEM. Plus their dresses are super cute and fairly cheap and their sales rack is AMAZING if you make the time to go through it.
2. Aeropostale - mostly for comfortable basics like tanks and shorts and things you can layer!
3. Kohl's - I also love their sales rack, yes, okay.
4. hmm I like Forever 21 okay, I guess, but it is...really hard to navigate when I'm in the store, because so much of it is clothes I would never wear... So finding the things I would wear in between all the other stuff can be daunting.
5. OVERSEAS... China/Korea, haha. \o/

I also love looking at Modcloth and YesStyle and but oh god, so pricey. ;_;

lol, I really couldn't tell you why I don't post about my private life! Mostly I think it's because I find it's incredibly boring. orz

AMAZON IS WONDERFUL. And full of things I don't need but want anyway.

I dunno why I'm feeling like a clotheshorse at the moment. Also, I envy you so much for being able to wear things from China/Korea. /totally not built for such things!

sometimes it's just a lot of effort to type it all up after you've already lived through it - at least for me, anyway. But if you should share for us curious nosy souls, heh.

It's okay - the tradeoff is that I am not built to wear 90% of clothes sold in the US. :(
