Warning! Private is not Private! (UPDATED)
Y'know how I was mentioning in my last post that you can read folks Livejournal with an RSS feed?
Well, you can, but it doesn't enforce your privacy settings!
In other words, everything you post to LJ is public.
I'm passing this along to the help desk, but don't expect this to be worked any time soon.
Never mind -- they're doing something really funky with your cookies. It looks like the real problem is that, if you log in to LJ using a shared computer, the only way you're guaranteed privacy is if you completely rid that computer of its browsers' cookies.
Simply logging out doesn't fix the problem.
