Heartbeat rhythm
The first time I noticed it was around 4 pm maybe. I was queuing for VIP entrance, they were rehearsing inside the venue. Despite thick walls their powerful music was reaching us: SEVENTH HEAVEN, then HONEY and many more songs…My hearth was already burning in that cold Parisian afternoon.
Then suddenly, unexpectedly hyde’s voice alone… 季節は色を変えて幾度巡ろうとも

いつまでもいつまでも君を想い
My heart cried! Jojoushi!!!! It skipped a beat, then some girls screamed. I screamed, too. I couldn’t help it. Then the tender, sweet melody joined the singing. It overwhelmed me.
When the live started, I was swaying, jumping, singing, screaming with their songs. But it was not like any other live, especially during forbidden lover: the marching rhythm of snare drums was unexpectedly high and it was filling completely my ears. At first I couldn’t move or breath. Then my heart started to beat to the rhythm of snare drums, and when hyde joined with singing, every single word was piercing through my heart. Painful and awesome.
One of my favourite interpretations of band name is that their music can express every colour of human feeling, from energetic joy to sorrowful pain. I think it’s something hard to get, so I’m grateful to them for letting me going through this incredible experience.
Ken and Yukihiro having fun
Sadly I couldn’t see ken very well from my side (3rd-4th row in front of hyde), but when I managed to spot him, I could see his passionate faces and rocking attitude when playing guitar. I had the sensation that, comparing to DVD, he moves really more, and in a sexy way ^^ During MC his face, sometimes worried about communication, mostly smiling, was quite addictive!
I had a good view of yukihiro, instead, I could feel his energy reaching me, especially during jamming session and drum solo. Everybody around me probably felt the same, so when he entered the jamming session, we started a chorus: “yukki, yukki!”. I don’t know if he was able to hear us, but I think he could see well our smiling faces ^-^
Tetsuya’s freshness
He was really concentrated during performances, almost picky about every single note of his bass. Still, he sounded so fresh. It was a shower of fresh and lively sound. It was incredible! His way of playing reminded me so much of his personality.
When looking at audience, he was smiling in such a cute way. He was really nice. He left stage only after greeting us with a tired but still bright face. His last words “mata nee” made me more confident about the possibility to see him and his wonderful band again in Europe (maybe in my country … and not only with photoshop…)
Hyde’s hot hat
I simply loved it. I mean, everybody else putting on an old lady hat would have been ridiculous, but he looked just beautiful. I think that the hat doubled hyde’s charm, ‘cause it drew all my attention to his piercing eyes. He made me speechless, particularly during fate, when he started swaying, too. I’m not able to describe how much hot he was. Sadly I can’t find any picture that match my memories . Well, an image can’t sing such a creepy song with a wonderful voice. I was really blown away.
Worldwide love
Queuing all the day in the freezing Parisian weather can be long and though, but when it’s done among people who shares the same love, it can be warm. A French fan gave me the Metro issue with Laruku on the first page (so kind!), an Italian girl was so nice and helpful during VIP ticket check. At that time she told me about a Mexican boy, who surprised me with a perfect Italian! After ID card check we were allowed to another zone, but still outside. I am thankful to the German girl who remade the queue as it was before the messy check. I was in the same line with two Japanese girls with sparkling dress. So cute! They showed me their Rag-baby, one of them was dressed like the girl. Wow! They were so kind with me, sharing excitement together.
Inside the venue, fans were amazing. Everybody was singing all Laruku’s songs, dancing, jumping like mad XD I have been to several concert, but none of them was so burning!
I am thankful especially a girl from Nagoya. We talked together all day long, enjoying thrilling moments. When, during the final rush to the stage, I lost my right contact lens she supported me so much. So I was able to calm down and wear the lens again, despite the mess. I am really really grateful!
Flying objects
Being so next to the stage has some disadvantages, you know. I couldn’t catch the French-flag-coloured papers downpouring during SEVENTH HEAVEN. I had to wait after the live to collect some feathers, as they mainly flew over the band, and only a few reached fans. Due to epic shortness, my view was sometimes blocked >< So I couldn’t see hyde receiving an Angry bird plushie from a fan during STAY AWAY intro. Of course I couldn’t catch neither mukimpo nor lollipop. I am still longing to see a pic of hyde’s whistle, I can’t find it anywhere.
But the big fail, a really BIG fail, was when, being my view blocked for the millionth time, something hit my left cheek. At least I was able to catch it. When I opened my hand I saw this. O_o
I have NEVER been able to get anything at lives, so my mind started to think about every possibility, like the fact that maybe a fan had lost it XD It was really unexpected and unbelievable. On the other hand I realized how much important it was to me, so I treasured it, keeping it in my hand till I went to bed XD
Neverending excitement
It’s almost ten days the live is over, but I’m still in seventh heaven and it seems I will be like this for long.
I have never felt like this before. I had a great time.
