Those three words that made the shocked person in front of me frown..
"Eh?"
Was the only thing that came out of his mouth. It felt as if my heart was being crushed into pieces.
I knew it was impossible. What was I thinking? How stupid of me to hope that maybe this wasn't a one-sided love, I stand corrected.
"I'm sorry.. I know you don't feel the same, I just couldn't help it. Sorry."
"Aiba... I-" was the only thing I heard before storming out of the room not allowing him to finish whatever he was saying. I raced out of the building as fast as I could without even turning back.
I ran and ran until I reached a park and there I slumped to the ground. Tears falling nonstop . What did I do? Baka, Baka, baka! Of course I would cry, the love, the feelings that I kept locked up inside my heart for 7 years was thrown out of the window as if it was a piece of trash. True that he didn't say anything though. No "I'm sorry, I don't feel the same way" came out of his mouth. But his expression gave it all away. Really, He's too nice, too nice that it hurts.
We've been together ever since we were in Johnny's Jr. How did it end up this way? The feelings that I tried so hard to hide, why now? And why the hell did I have to fall in love with my bandmate in the first place? "Sakurai Sho" *sigh* just saying his name makes my heart beat crazy already. This is stupid, I feel like a highschool girl who had just gotten her heart broken. Gathering all the energy I had left, I stood up and went home.
I didn't even realize that I had arrived already.
Lazily, I searched for my key that was hidden under the doormat. Ehh?? After 5 minutes of continuous searching.. Where is my key?. It can't be lost, I always hid it under here at this very spot.. Weird. Hey.. wait a minute..why are the lights on? A thief? Nah, I must have been careless again and forgot to turn if off earlier before I left for work. OH!! I must have forgotten to lock the door to! Let's give it a try shall we?
Trying my luck,I reached for the doorknob and turned it ever so slowly *Click*
Ughh.. I knew it. Frustrated, I stepped inside the apartment and removed my shoes not noticing that another pair was neatly arranged on my doorstep.
I went straight to the kitchen and took a bottle of beer from my fridge. It's gonna be a looong night.
I sat down in the dining table and drowned my self in sorrow only to notice that I was still in my work clothes. "Wait here okay? " Wait, did I just talk to my beer? I must be drunk.. Laughing at myself, I continued walking to my bedroom. Passing by my living room I saw a figure lying on my couch. Sleeping ever so soundly. At first I was surprised, A thief? Then I realized it was just Sho. Smiling I continued making my way to my bedroom when a realization suddenly hit me. Wait a minute... Sho? That can't be. This must be because I'm drunk ne~~ But just to make sure.. I took a few steps back and stared at the sleeping figure. See? It's just Sh-Sh-SHO?! What the heck? Why is he here?
"Sh-Sh-Sho-chan" I stuttered. He immediately opened his eyes and sat up straight as if he just heard his alarm clock and was already late for work.
"Masaki." He said with his oh so lovely voice that made me shiver inside.
"Sho-chan? What are you doing here? How the heck did you get inside my house?"
"Masaki, we've been together for so long, did you think I wouldn't know that you keep your keys underneath your doormat? Seriously that's not safe ya know. "
"Ok fine, You answered my second question, care to answer the other one? "
"Ohh. Regarding that. I wanted to explain. Masaki I- I-- "
"Stop!."
"Sho-chan it's ok. I know you would never feel the same way so you don't have to tell me anymore" I said with a sad smile plastered on my face..
"I just wanna be alone right now can you leave first? " I said with my shaky voice, I was on the verge of crying. I turned around hoping that he would allow me to escape. But before I could even run to my bedroom he grabbed my wrists and pulled me hard until I faced him.
"No" that voice, he's serious. "You are not escaping from me again Masaki!"
"Eh? "
"How dare you conclude my feelings without hearing me out first."
"Why? Tell me I'm wrong!!" I was shouting. I don't even know why I'm this furious. "Do you like me? Huh? Do you?? "
"I-I-"
"ANSWER ME!! " Darn I was really mad.
"YES I DO! I LIKE- NO! I LOVE YOU! YOU GOT THAT?" He was as mad as me.
"What? STOP LYING! I don't need your sympathy!"
"UGGHH!" He yelled frustrated and what he did next surprised me. He was crying. Tears were flooding his eyes.
He kneeled in front of me.
"Masaki.. why won't you believe me? I've loved you ever since. Your smile, your laugh everything. My day wouldn't be complete without seeing you. I've kept this feelings bottled up inside since forever because I was afraid that you didn't feel the same and would end up hating me" he said as he slowly wiped his tears .
"But believe me, my feelings for you are sincere and if your wondering why I didn't tell you these things earlier is because you didn't even give me the chance to reply, you just ran away without hearing me out, I tried to run after you but damn you're fast."
"But, your face. You looked like you were shocked and you were frowning and it was as if you didn't know what to do" Now I was crying. I couldn't believe what I was hearing is all of this a dream?
"That's true. Because I was stunned. I couldn't believe that the guy I love feels the same way. I was overwhelmed and just when I was about to reply you ran off."
My knees gave up and I fell on the floor.My tears continued falling without any sign of stopping yet. I was so happy.
"Really? " was the only thing I could say. I still couldn't believe that this was true.
"Really." he smiled. That warm smile that I've loved ever since the beginning.
I launched at him and hugged him unable to stop my feelings. He chuckled wrapping his protective arms around me. "Baka" he said with a soft voice that sounded like music to my ears. We stayed like that for a couple of minutes with him continuing to whisper sweet words to my ear.
"Sho-chan"
"Hmm?"
"I love you.. Don't leave me?"
"I love you more Masaki" he said while hugging me tighter not wanting to let me go
" But I'm sorry Masaki ..... it seems you'd have to spend your lifetime with me, because there's no way that I'm letting you go ever again"
"Glad to hear that"
"Oh and yeah Masaki?" He said, while our faces only inches apart.
"If you ever jump to conclusions again, I swear you would regret it. So please listen to me first before anything else ok?"
I nodded
"Promise?"
"Promise"
"Good"
and with that he sealed our lips together into a sweet kiss.
