I had a dream last night that I bought crack (it looked like little glass beads in a plastic bag that had been ripped open in the corner)... but then I wanted to return it, because *I* didn't really want it, and the friend who had gone in on it with me had a big problem with crack and I didn't think I should let them have any. WEIRD. Then a few nights ago I dreamed that I was playing this game (at grandma and grandpa's old cottage!) that became more and more reminiscent of a zombie apocalypse... in the end, this one other girl and I were the only ones left, and we were running for our lives across the cottage lawn. We made for a motorhome that was parked on the lawn and hid under it, but the "zombies" saw her ducking under because she was too slow, and they dragged her out. I sort of gave in at that point, and I was TERRIFIED of whatever it was that these "zombies" were going to do to me, even though I knew it was just a game... I dashed out from underneath saying something to the effect of "I give, you caught me, game over!". I go through phases like this every once in awhile, where I dream very vividly about very strange things. Wonder what it means...
Also, I think I might've figured out why cars hate us cyclists: it's because we're generally assholes. I mean, I'm pretty by-the-book because of dad, but most cyclists out there are jackasses. They don't signal when they turn, they don't warn you when they're going to pass you, the run red lights, they don't stop when the streetcar doors are open. And the WORST part of all this is, even though THEY are breaking like 6 million laws, whenever a motorist does anything even slightly wrong, they're screaming and shaking their fists and shooting their dirtiest looks over their shoulders at the cars. Fucking hypocrites. Don't get me wrong... motorists are assholes too... but don't jump up on your soapbox about how badly cyclists are treated until YOU are showing respect to the people you're sharing the road with.
Pinocchio opened this weekend... we're getting great feedback, surprisingly. I guess we're not dealing with the world's most discerning audience here. :D But yeah, it's fun so far... we're doing the same amount of shows as we did with Munsch Mayhem, but we're spreading it out over two months, so it's a lot less exhausting. I've also got more time to dedicate to important things like facebooking and lj-ing. :D
