school
So I guess maybe you guys want to know how my first day of school was...:/
Thursday: I woke up at 6:00 and got ready to blasting music that I'm sure my neighbors could probably hear since my windows were open. Then we drove like the 45 minutes to school. When I got inside I was like...uUHHHH WOW. I found a staircase right away and carried on to my homeroom upstairs. Then blah blah I went about my day wandering around the school in search of staircases and my class rooms. Luckily at lunch I found a xc friend. If I hadn't I would have been dead. :X I didn't really make any friends.
Friday: I talked to some people, sorta kinda found my way around school easier. Yeah yeah. I also went to Allentown's football game to see all my friends and people in the band. :P Allentown won! Why does that make me feel like my team won? OH, I saw Brian G. There too.
Schedule
Period 1- Food science and nutrition
Period 2- Academic US History 1
Period 3- Geometry Honors---I'm really overwhelmed with that class. I can't do some of the math! And it's an algebra review!
LUNCH
Period 4- English Honors II
Period 5- Biology--On thursday I have Bio Lab instead of gym.
GYM
Period 6- Latin II
Saturday- Got up for xc practice. It was a hard workout. Then...afterwards I went to the beach with Kristen and Allison (xc friends). We had a blast. GUESS WHAT, I SURFED!! Or...tried to. I didn't catch any waves, just kinda sat out there with Kristen, because we don't know how to. Allison L and Erin did all the wave catching. Along with my dad...
Then we body surfed. That was fun. We were playing "throw the jellyfish" because the water was full of them. Not the kind that sting you, I'm not that stupid. So we would search for the jellies and then throw them to eachother. This ended in a jelly fish war, in which we threw them so hard that when they hit eachother they broke into peices. It's really fun, you should try it some time. :)
We ended the day at Surf Taco. I had a buffalo chicken taco and a beef taco. We finished it off with some yummy icecream. I was quite full. And then they went home, we came home, and thus ending my day.
OH YEAH, we found a gigantic Praying Mantis on the boardwalk. Allison took pictures and we were holding it and everything and it was really cool. If you waved your hair around in front of it it would try to catch it.
