I'm going to Disney World! :D
I am currently in Montreal and my flight to San Diego doesn't leave until 6 in the morning tomorrow...which means I either stay awake all night so I can go to the airport at 4 in the morning so I can go through airport security and customs and hang around in the international departure area for a while or I can try to go to bed early so I'll have some sleep and won't be dead tired when I go through security...which is better? Going through security and customs dead tired or all groggy from waking up? :p
I flew down from Chisasibi on Friday because there no flights on Saturdays and I didn't know what the weather was going to be like on Sunday (my tickets to California are non-refundable because they're the cheapest tickets I could get) and didn't want to risk bad weather. :p
They really wanted me off the plane on Friday because the flight was overbooked by one person and a little overweight. The reason they wanted me off the plane was because I was flying for free (actually, I had to pay seventeen dollars...not bad considering how much full fares cost from Chisasibi to Montreal) and everybody else had paid full fares so I was the only non-revenue passenger but they couldn't kick me off the plane because my seat was guaranteed by the president of the airline. :D
Funny thing happened to me on the way to the airport in Chisasibi, my ride hadn't come around to take me to the airport with 15 minutes before the flight was scheduled to depart so in a panic, I slipped on my winter boots that I didn't have to tie up or anything and out the door I went and found a ride. One of my relatives asked me where I was going and I told them I was going to California and she looked down at my boots and asked if I was going in those and I looked down at my boots and I realized I was wearing my Sorel winter boots which are rated for up to -100F weather (

Thank goodness my sister was in town, I was able to leave my winter boots at her apartment in Ottawa but walking around in the cold in canvas Converse shoes isn't fun...my feet were either cold or I couldn't lace up my Converse shoes all the way up because I was wearing thick winter socks. :p
What to do for the next few hours? No vehicle and stuck at a hotel near the airport in Montreal...so far away from downtown...at least there's free internet access here. :D
