The Stones concert was pretty good last night...I'd say 98% of the entire crowd were old...in their mid 50's to mid 70's. :p I felt so young at the concert...especially on the bus ride from the Bellagio to the MGM Grand arena. A woman in her early 60's in the row in front of us was really go-go dancing hard practically during the entire concert. :D A man sitting beside me in his mid to late 60's occasionally taking a hit of a joint being passed around by a guy sitting a couple besides him. :p
The Stones are starting to show their age...I guess being in their 60's they aren't as mobile as they were the last time I saw them either 12 or 15 years ago in Montreal. Keith Richards looks good these days, I guess death has loosened it's grip on him. He looks so much better than he did a few years ago when he looked like a corpse. ^_^;
They started the show off with "Jumping Jack Flash" (I thought they'd start off with "Start Me Up"...which they didn't play until nearly the end of the concert. :P) and ended their show with "(Can't Get No) Satisfaction)" and their two encore songs were "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and "Brown Sugar". :D We also got to hear "Paint It Black" (which my father really enjoyed), "Get Off of My Cloud", "Honky Tonk Women" (which rocked), "Angie" and they sang a Ray Charles song called "(Night Time Is) The Right Time)" and they sang a few songs from their new album.
Jason Mraz was the opening act and I don't know how he got to open for the Stones...he doesn't rock like the Stones do. :p
