I've been taking up a collection of baby things for a friend of mine that's about to have a baby boy. I don't have a lot of money and her family has even less, so I've been taking donations anywhere and everywhere I can find them. I've gotten quite a few things from Freecycle and one of my coworkers gave me two huge bags of clothes and toys this week. She helped me put them in my trunk on our break, and I've left everything in my trunk for the next time I go to my friend's house.
On the way to the restaurant tonight, The Kid was complaining that there were weird noises coming from the back of my car, so we turned off the radio so we could listen. Sure enough, the way the toys are situated, every time we hit a bump one of the toys screams YIPPIE YIPPIE and we found it really funny.
My car is now officially the Yippiemobile; I might keep that particular toy in the trunk just because it's amusing.
