Back to a reasonable speed
I found out during last week's trip to the community college that last Friday was the last day to sign up for classes and I would have had to pay up front and be reimbursed later. Since I didn't have the money for that, I'll be starting next semester.
I can still have the degree in four semesters. One of them will have to be a summer semester now. A Pell Grant year ends at the end of the summer semester, so I will still have the two full-time semesters that I reported when I filled out the application.
In the meantime I've checked up on the courses I'll be taking, factoring in transferred credits. Two semesters of 14 credit hours followed by two semesters of 12 credit hours will take care of things. I've also started on the school's paperwork, other than the application that I filled out last Friday.
