Le Weekend
Mallard Ball was awesome. Bryant and I went. got into a huge waterballoon fight with everyone. SOAKING WET. good barbeque dinner. annnnd yeah. totally awesome. pics are up on the link in my profile if youre interested.
My moms wedding!!
Friday night joe and i left, when we got to good ol' SRQ we went straight to Kirby's (bar) and played my drunk sister and drunk uncle at pool a few times. good times.
Saturday we set up for the par-tay/wedding and then it BEGAN!!!
Joe looked all classy behind the bar, pouring old men Crown Royal on the rocks, and pouring the old women martinis and parrot and pineapple. Assisted by Brent Lewis of course.
we all drank, danced, etc. When things were winding down Joe came out from behind the bar and did a lovely performance of Jukebox Hero by Foreigner. Everyone talked about it the day after. it was THAT GOOD.
The keg guys came for the keg...and it was still practically full...so they were letting it drain off the side of the balcony!! joe and i were like YO! whatchu fool doin?! and theyre like "oh we gotta take this keg back, so we gotta empty it. Want some?" and im like "DUDE DO A KEG STAND" and theyre like "We'll help if you want" and Joe did one. then i did one. they were our first keg stands. Single Tear.
Afterwards Joe, Krista, Maddy, Sophie and I went to Brent's apartment. Each of the gals put on a pair of his boxers and one of his white undershirts and we all went down to the pool with Brent's roomate Jarred (omg <3 heart) IIIIIIt pretty much looked like skinny dipping with those shirts. but we attempted to make pyramids. we got 3 people on each others shoulders in one straight stack. good times.
THEEEENNN sunday we had brunch and then dinner with the family. LOVELY way to end the weekend.
Joe--thank you for coming. my family loved you. and im sorry if they asked you if we were dating...im assuming they did as everyone asked me the same question. AWKWARD. oh. and the nap and the talk. GOOD TIMES. that is all
Now its back to school life. just finished a bunch of history homework. WOOPIIIIEEE. not. This weekend is fall break and I NEED to get a hold of cody's parents to see if they can get me and my friends a hotel room so we can get up there for his graduation. we'll see.
