Band Trip
So, this past weekend I went on the high school music trip. I went as staff for the marching band and accompanist for the choruses. Anywho, I just wanted to share my favorite part before I forget. The hotel we stayed at happened to have karaoke every night, which is my new favorite thing.
So I decide to sing Shania Twain "I'm Outta Here" and I decide I'll pick some guy in the audience to sing the first part to ("Mind if I sit down? Can I buy you a round? Haven't seen your face before, are you new in town?"). So there were a couple of guys with ladies next to them and I just picked one. Luckily I picked this really nice guy with a super fun lady next to him and sang to him. I thanked them afterwards and they said they loved it. She actually came up and sang "Like a Virgin" with a bunch of the chaperones and myself. WELL. The best part of this story is that they were staying at this hotel for their honeymoon. I "hit" on a newly-wed guy. I love it.
