Weekends
So, its finally Saturday. The mock trial was a mild disaster however, considering that we had two weeks and only really knew what we were doing for about a week (we finally met with a lawyer who knew what in the hell was going on) I must say it wasn't too awful. There were 2 jurys, the first was hung but the second said the deffendent was innocent on all counts. Than and I were happy we won, however the evidence did lean more in our favor, Mallie had already decoded whether or not Emily was innocent or guilty so the evidence relfected it. THe poli-sci teacher was a real ass about the whole thing berating Mallie infront of all of us and the audience (some kids got extra credit for this and therefore showed up, much to our irritation) Mallie's giving it for my psych class which makes me happy since I had to be there all I have to do now is write my 1 pg paper on the stupid thing.
Theta retreat, which I had been looking forward to all week was a bit of a bust. We went to Gera's and had a fire, supposed to be a bon fire but alas was a mini one. Then we went back to the lounge to play games and a possible sleep over, however most of the group left cause they're delt girls and were invited to the high society party at the house (Theta stuff = no booze.) At about ten- thirty everyone left and I went back to my room and watched love actually which was a pretty good movie.
I really should be working on my rough draft for psych but have absolutly no desire. THe stupid thing is due Tuesday so as long as I get 3 or 4 pages done today I should be okay, I can do the rest Sunday and Monday and edit on Tuesday since Seminar ends Monday and I'm not leaving until 3:30 on Tuesday to go home.
