$11,375 - almost there - 42 feathers to go!

Thirty-six more feathers over the weekend, almost half of all those left, and only forty-two to go until we hit $12,000 and one more red line on that list of garments! We've also raised one-third of the travel costs now - one-third of the way from $10k to $14k. Thank you so very much, every one of you who donated.
Four people have donated enough to make it over $100 this weekend, meaning that theirs will be amongst the 36 names that will now be sewn into the Peacock Dress. One person is getting close to being the third to make it to $500, meaning she'll receive her own beaded feather. You are incredible, all of you. Thank you.
We've only got another 42 feathers - $625 - to go before we hit that all-important $12,000, forcing me to make the Peacock Dress in full over the next year, after which all that's left is to add a pair of shoes and the roses at the hem. As before, I ought to make it clear that this money is not paying for the materials or labour on the dress, it's paying for us to help in Haiti next month; the dress is a big perk and your donation gets you into the LJ filter where you get to see the dress come together. The dress is simply making "Please donate some money to this Good Cause" more interesting.
If you would like to donate, you can now do so by clicking the "ChipIn!" button on the red box at the bottom of this post. The money will be processed by Paypal and will go towards the costs of getting these willing hands from England to a building site in Jacmel, Haiti next month.
If you'd like to help us out by reposting this appeal, please do so. One person, who could not afford to donate as much as she'd like to, reposted on her LJ last week, and people were coming over from her post for days, donating a total of over $200 between them. She made that happen. So can you!
You can repost by clicking the "copy" tab in the red widget below - then it'll show you the code to copy and paste into the html version of your LJ post (there's an html tab on the top right of the text box when you update your LJ.)
Thank you!

And by way of reward, here are a couple of videos of a very sparkly dress indeed... )

Why we're asking for travel expenses,
plus the breakdown of where the money goes Give $15
...and there will be a feather in your name; your name will be documented with the dress as a donor.
Give $100
...and I'll add your name to a twill tape to be sewn along the inside of the gown as a record of those who helped make it a reality.
Give $500
...and I'll send you a small version of the beaded peacock feathers I'm doing on the gown as well as write your name on the twill tape.
Give $1000
...and I'll send you a full-sized beaded feather, put your name on the twill tape, and a signed photo of me, in the outfit you helped create through your generosity.
The Guilt-Free Donate-A-Dollar Rule STILL APPLIES.
Not everyone can afford to give a large amount, and that's FINE - every single dollar will count. Your name will still be included on the list of donors under "Contributions also gratefully received from...."
