The problem with LJ: We all think we are so close, but some of us don't know much about one another. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Here's my answers:
1) Western MA, I love it, and if I Had to choose another place, it would be a *little* bit farther south and west, like the NW edge of PA. Slightly shorter winters, and the western edge of a time zone.

2)I'm 5'3", green eyes, maple syrup colored straight hair to my waist. I'm in decent shape, and curvy. I wear green a LOT, even though I love orange. I always wear three or four silver rings, bracelets, and a little brass quartered circle pendant. I live in jeans even though I love big flowy skirts.

3) I've been married for 19 years to the love of my life who I met in college, and we have three sons - 13, 9, and 3.

4) I'm a facilitator with MotherWoman Inc, plus I help run our family publishing and fulfillment businesses, plus I teach sex ed when I can, plus I do the occasional textile related commission. I'm pretty happy with this, but I sure would like to teach more, if only more local schools/school boards would consider accurate and age-appropriate sex ed an important thing for 4th-12th grade kids. I'm starting to think about marketing quilt patterns, too.

5)Five favorite things:
Mummies! I find them endlessly fascinating, always have
Doing puzzles and telling jokes with my husband and kids
Playing in dirt (also called iris gardening)
Middle eastern dance
Singing, especially in Arabic

6) Three favorite hobbies:
Quilting! Basically anything textile related is good
Designing and playing role-playing games
Reading

7) Hmm. I've had a Live Journal account for years, but only just started using it earlier this summer. I haven't figured out how to give it a name beyond just Meguey, which is my name.

8) Best trait: I can see both sides of a question, so I'm generally diplomatic and a good listener. Worst trait: I tend to over-commit.

9) Three cats, two guinea pigs, and I feed the birds all winter and spring. Most meaningful pet was my little white cat Sugarbean, who we bought to help our oldest son feel better. She helped a lot, and was hit by a car6 years ago.

10) No, and I'm pissed about that. I wanted to, I intended to, and then somebody got sick and I didn't male it to the polls. I hate missing a chance to vote.
