(no subject)
Here's an update to what's been happening in my life:
- i didnt get the job, they had 7 ppl for 4 jobs so i missed out cos other people were "stronger" in the interview then i was BUT i have another assessment centre friday week so that should be good.
- on the note of the assessment centre, one of the girls at uni who has already signed a contract with another company to be a part of their graduate program i think is going to the assessment centre as well plus one of our other friends. WHY???? she already has a job worth $68,000 at least a year (elle u know who im talking about). The only reasons that i can think why is she is either 'shopping around' and is of the belief she can get out of this contract she signed ( i dont know how without slandering her own name) or she just signed it because of the money and hopes she'll get another offer and can get out of it. Basically she's digging her own grave cos she she did vac work with the company she signed with so when they ring for references its gonna be funny. I'll just be pissed if she goes further and i dont. THAT WILL MAKE ME MAD. so thats the ethical problem i've had this week.
- Got my dreaded cold yet again. its gone from my head thru my nose (which is still blocked) and down to my throat. i dont wanna go to the docs cos then i'll get a prescription and then have to pay $30 for my tablets cos i havent got my health care card. I cant believe how much medicine costs its a joke.
- Good news. Won a bronze in the victorian taekwondo competition on saturday. It was kinda a let down cos i was against 4 other girls and 2 of them stuffed up so it was pretty much a given that i would get the bronze. The two ppl i was up against were state medalists so im gonna go back and do another championship in july and then the state comp in august and im gona try my hardest, and kick some butt :) oh and for my next grading which is in about 5 weeks (i think) i have to break a board (either with a hand or foot) so i think its gonna hurt like hell.
- Besides that just going to uni, dagging round at home, doing the usual single life of Megan. Oh got the living end concert on saturday so that should be heaps of fun. and im not doing stocktake on tuesday so im happy with that. and THANK GOD my research project is due next week. im gonna finish it off once word bloody well works on my computer. i've nearly handwritten it all so should be finished hopefully by the end of the weekend. i should have time 2moro to type it up hopefully and finish it off.
Ah my life hopefully it cant get anymore busy, i have NO time for much stuff these days, and i have saturdays off work. man i'll be working both days next weekend, thats gonna drive me crazy
