to be a friend...
So, I have a major confession to make. I'm really, really worried about one of my best friends. She doesn't post on livejournal, so theres, well, one or two eliminated, but she's really starting to worry me. She has a situation with a professor where he won't leave her alone. He emails her and tries to get her alone all the time. The one time he did get her alone, he basically attempted rape. This person, being the person she is, fought him off, and ran for her car. But alas, he somehow made it to her car before she did. He pinned her against the car, and again tried to get his hand down her pants etc, etc, etc. She has since filed an official complaint with the university and she has a restraining order against him. Well, as it has turned out, he decided that a restraining order wouldn't keep him away. So he showed up at her house today, and she didnt know he was there. She went out to her car to go out, and he attacked her, throwing her up against the car, and broke her wrist. He told her that she'd pay for what she's done. He was arrested, and later released on fucking bail. So now he's out again, and what's going to stop him from going and seeing her again?! I keep telling her that she HAS to go to the media and get this out to the public, let them know what a creep he is so he gets punished to the fullest extent. Im really scared for her, and I dont want anything to hapen to her, and I think a way to do that is to get this guys face plastered all over tv screens and newspapers.
