One door closed and another is opened!

Well I posted last time that I was getting a job at WaMu. I got the job and all, I started my training, which was really cool. I got to meet lots of great people and I learned alot. But I quit. Yea, 2 days into my training I Quit becuase it was just too dang far. I was just trying to be realistic. The shift I applied for was 6-12 which is really 6-12:30 5 days a week. I thought perfect! The two days I go to school I will take off that way im dedicating those two days just to school. But this woman called me about 2 days before my training and asked me what two days I wanted off. I said tues/thurs. However they don't offer that. All they could do was fri/sat or wed/thurs. I went with wed/thurs. I though I could make that work.

I went to training the first couple of days. And let me tell you, it is a great company to work for. If any of you ever get an opportunity to be employed by WaMu deff do it, or at least concider it greatly. But you know Im just not a desk job kind of person. The possition that I was hired for was to be one of those telephone banker people. Basically im the person who You call if you have "questions, comments, manifestos, traumas"(Hallgren,2000-2001. i think) about your account. I would wear a headset for 6 hrs with one 15 min break. THe talking with people, helping people, getting complaints even would be easy for me but sitting there for 6 hours, not being able to go to the bathroom when I wanted I realized wasn't my thing. By the end of the second day of training I realized that the whole last hour I couldn't concentrate. I was off in wonderland, not comprehending any of the material we were going over. The training is all e-learning so it would be similar to the day that I would actually be having when I begin my on-the-floor job. THe only thing was that the guy who was training us was super duper cool and he gave us 45min-hr break AND he was letting us leave early at the end of the night. on monday he let us out 45min early and then on tues he let us out 30 min early. So my actual job would be even longer. On top of that I wasn't getting home at night until about 12:45. Now going out with friends and staying out with friends until 12:45 or later is not a problem. But getting home from work that late and then having to get up early for another job and/or school is just not going to work out with me. I realized that if i took this job I wouldn't be able to keep up with school to the best of my ability and it would negatively affect my time at BR. So Wed. afternoon I called in and spoke with Debbie, I know her from baskin robbins. She was very understanding and agreed that i would be waisting their time aswell as my own. So I just let go lots of extra $$ and a great learning experience.

BUT you know how they say that when one door closes, another one is opened?!?!?! Well I was offered an amazing possition. Tom and I are partners in this company that is called 4E-corp. They are the distributers of this product called Ethos. What Ethos does is it reformulates your gas in order to increase your gas milage, it reduces emisons(save the earth!), and it helps your engine run cooler, thus extending the life of your engine. Now you may be wondering why you havn't heard of it. Well the company, up until recently only sold it commercially. They sell it to the chineese govt, the US military uses it in their vehicals. Several other countries are in on it and are saving millions and millions of dollars a year. They are, in a week or two, going to be going public. Now they arn't going to be selling it in local stores because its way less effective to sell it in a store than through distributors. In order to sell it in stores they have to give millions and millions of dollars to other companies and that doesn't even guarantee that it ends up on the shelves. Also the stuff that you find at the store are gas additives which means that it adds chemicals to your gas, which in the short run save you gas milage but could damage your engine inthe long run and peopel may think its the same thing. You can check it out more if you want at www.lowergasprices.biz. ANY WAYS the CEO of the comany lives here in San Antonio. He is one of the founders of the company, he is making millions and millions of dollars already. He hired me to be come his "apprentice" if you will. I will be working with him and several other "big guys" in the company and will be learning how they make thier millions. Now because of the way they have set the company up it is not unrealistic to think that I could soon be making millions too. Vortex is the comapny that i will actually be working for. Vortex is a sub company that endorses the product. They are puting thousands of dollars into this thing just in San Antonio, Its a world wide thing but the fact that they are centralized in SA, means I have a great advantage! They say to surround yourself with pwople that you want to be like and thats exactly what im doing. Prety soon I wont have to wory about having a stupid, jacked up laptop, Ill be able to buy a brand new one! And Ill be able to finally go visit my homies in Cali!!! But till then im here in our little one bedroom appt livin it up.

1 year next week guys! We've almost made it!!

K im outs here till next friday/sat/sun . . .
