I heard and read about your break up, and I just thought I would give you a few words of encouragement even though I am not sure of all the details. Like you said, "everything happens for a reason", and whether or not you figure out what the reason is today or 10 years from now, it will all piece together someday. I always thought of you as a strong person, so I can only see this experience making you even stronger. Eveyone needs to make mistakes, that's part of life and what makes us grow. You never knew how things would turn out between you and Katie, and that was the chance you were willing to take. If you went into every relationship thinking how much the person might hurt you in the end, you would never date anyone. As you know, you can always find comfort in your friends. When there's so many people to love in your life, why worry about one? What you feel right now is only temporary, it won't be forever because before you know it, you'll simply move on or find someone else to pursue. Well, that's all I got for you now.
