It's snowing again. A pretty heavy snowfall, at that. I'm glad I don't have anywhere to be later today. Tomorrow I have to see David, my councilor, he's a great guy. We've been working together on my problems for ten years now. It really is a process of revelation.
I saw the most amazing show on the Discovery Channel. Air Jaws. Great White sharks that can launch out of the water as high as 15 feet. Some of you have seen the show, I bet. Those who haven't, I'm sure there are clips on Youtube.
Normally, sharks just freak me the fuck out (thank you so much, Hollywood), but watching a 20 foot 1 ton Great White making air like Michael Jordan...
It's SO beautiful. It only happens near a seal island in the ocean off the tip of Africa. The shark swims deep, then launches a vertical attack to pick off seals. Half the time, the seal gets away! They've got the advantage in maneuverability and stamina. The seal island has a population of 60,000 or so, and there are 30 or so Great Whites lurking around during the winter, so only 1% of the seals are killed.
Man, I hurt. The day before Christmas Eve, I slipped in slush and crashed to ground on the left side of my chest. OW. It's taking forever to heal up. No broken bones, so that's awesome.
I'm'a stop rambling now.
Peace.
