This morning started off quite stressful. At about 2:30 in the morning I was up, typing my history paper, and all of a sudden the computer just SHUT OFF. I was like AHHH! except only silently because people were sleeping. I stayed up until 3 trying to fix it, but realized my attempts were futile and went to bed.
I got up at 5, did my little morning routine (except very slowly because I was very sleepy), and went downstairs. Where I proceeded to tell my dad why my paper wasn't done. He sort of just looked at me, and then we silently got into the car.. it was all very solemn, like I was walking down the Green Mile or something. But he wrote me a note when we got to school saying how our computer sometimes gets a little bored and decides to add some excitement to my life by giving me a panic attack.
I had history first period, so at the beginning of class I went up to Mr. Gagnon and told him what had happened. And he said something along the lines of we had been patient with him, so he would be patient with me = I can pass my paper in tomorrow and not get docked a letter grade. I was very excited. Except not, because then the rest of the class he kept making little side comments, like, 'sorry if I don't have your papers tomorrow, I have to go meet some guy to clean out my mom's apartment' or 'sorry by mom screwed up your test arrangement by dying'. We all sort of sat there awkwardly, not knowing what to say.
I had french second period, and then we had the assembly thing with Father Larry. He was hysterical, except not, because I don't enjoy sitting there having someone tell me I'm going to go to hell if I don't pray 4 hours a week. John Calvin, table for one? But he threw some really funny jokes in there, so it wasn't too bad.
Then we had adoration, and confession, and then lunch, which was basically all the seniors + me and moley. Mermer gave me her summary history book thing, which is very helpful because I have a test on wednesday, and then I had genetics with moley. And then english, where we read Macbeth, and this kid in our class had to be the ghost of Banquo, and he just followed Macbeth around attacking him with the Santa Shop presents.
After school, I drove with my mom to BJs and had to sit in the car while she went shopping, so I didn't get home until 4:10ish. Then my mom drove adam to his sax lesson, I did some homework, and started to work on my paper. But then adam came home and said he needed the computer, so I didn't get to get back on until... about half an hour ago? I'm pretty excited about staying up until 2 again, because that's what's going to happen.
Buuuttt I'm also pretty excited about Friday.. is it at Michelle's? I've never seen the inside of her house, but if it's anything like the outside and the multiple driveways, it should be excellent.
Alrighty, I'm going to go attempt to finish my paper.. see you all tomorrow.
