Okay, so here is all that I wrote in my diary while on my vacation (It's going to take me a few days to post it all): While I am on this vacation, I am going to be keeping two journals. The 1st will
concern my daily matters and everyday excitements and problems; you know, basically life! But the 2nd will be of all matters relating to food and weight. That journal is this one right here! I will be posting all of my journal entries on to here, my livejournal, but they will be done in sequenced installments, since this journal was first recorded by hand and would take forever to type up all at once. Let’s start from the beginning because it is a cool story and because there is no other place to start than the beginning. Here it is:
Me and my family, which is only my dad and mom, are going up to Massachusetts to visit my grandmother. For the first few days my parents will be with me, but then they will go back home, leaving just me and my grandmother together for a couple of days. After that, my cousin Elissa will be coming too!!! We don’t know yet, but we think we might go to my cousin’s house in New York for just a couple of days. Yeah, that’s about what my vacation is going to be. I don’t know of any specific things were going to be doing. I know it will be fun though!
**Day before vacation: Oh yea, I’ve been taking a cooking class. It’s over now, but I learned how to do a ton of things and had a lot of fun in the process. I’ve already cooked a few things for myself and once for my parents. I made lasagna just the other night and I don’t think I will be again for a long time. It was delicious, but not altogether worth it. It requires so much work and the frozen store bought stuff is good enough for me. Anyways… the night before our flight I walked over to the pizza shop and ordered a large. After walking around, waiting for it to cook, I returned to pick it up. When the guy was handing me the pizza he asked with a grin, “Is this indulgence for you alone tonight?”
I responded, “Well I don’t have anyone to share it with…”
“Oh I see. Well could I offer you a milkshake to go along with it? They’re really good, trust me.”
“Ummmmm, yeah, sure!”
“Which kind?”
I look at the menu. “Chocolate peanut butter.”
“You have excellent taste! That’s my favorite.”
He made the milkshake for me and it was tasty! As I was leaving he said, “Have fun and enjoy!”
I’m pretty sure he was attracted to me. He kept looking over at me and smiling while he was making the shake. He was beyond my age range though, probably a good 6 or 7 years older than me. Not that I care though, now that I have Ben.
**1st day of vacation: The next day was the day of my flight and you always seem to eat a lot on days that you fly. You go to the airport and order a big breakfast, stock up on snacks from the airport stores to eat while on the plane, arrive in another city for a layover and have a huge lunch, get on another plane for the second part of your trip and snack some more, then, despite a day of nothing but sitting and eating, the plane ride seems to take a lot out of you and leaves you feeling weakened and are therefore starving by dinner and eat a ton. So that’s how my day went.
