dance party!
Another long overdue post from yours truly...
I just got back from a hilarious dance party in Scott 418. I originally went over because none of my girls showed up to my girls night...so Kyle and Jake invited me over to have a couple beers. Jake had been dying to 'hang out' with Kyle and me (hanging out has suddenly become our term for drinking...sort of so we don't make our numerous friends who are minors uncomfortable...but more because some of them have unnecessary freak outs) So the three of us relaxed on the couch and watched Animal House. Then the girls who ditched me for girls night showed up in the guys' room (surprise, surprise) and I decided that I wasn't going to address that issue at the moment. So Jake and Jen were looking at the Numa Numa guy on ebaumsworld.com and we all started dancing. I sort of morphed into my old dance aerobics instructor and pretty soon they were all following my cheesy steps and we aerobicized around the floor.
I have to get up for prayer and I absolutely have to take a shower before I go...so that means I'm getting up at 6am. It is currently 12:43. Last night I couldn't sleep because I had an amazingly frustrating conversation with Chris that reminded me how incredibly oblivious guys are. Being an idealist, I sometimes imagine that they are perceptive and use their brain. And then reality strikes.
After I talked to Chris, I sat on my bed getting worked up and then trying to calm myself down. Then Andy called...who I'm not sure I wanted to talk to, but I'm really glad I did. I keep convincing myself that he's not really my type, but then he calls and says things that sort of catch me off guard. So I'm warming up to him a bit. Plus, he's freaking hilarious so I'm getting a little more excited for him to come visit.
I'll probably go into the details in my next post. Actually, who am I kidding...I can't promise you another post.
