oh finals week finals week... i love it sooo much...
so big news...
presented my poster on friday in amh... stood around for a while... talked to jackie, amelia, jill, and sue mostly...
...then... all of a sudden... i see DR. BARIL looking at my poster. i run over there and stand next to it without making eye contact. he's like an angry bear... if you pretend you don't see him, he might go away...
...but then he started TALKING to me...
...he said my idea was interesting... he asked how i went about my study... he said it was a great idea... and he LIKED it!!!
...the man who never smiles actually was joking around with me and COMPLIMENTED me!!! holy shit!!!
...so he left and dr karpiak and dr slotterback came over to look at my poster and i told them what just occured and said 'i almost peed my pants.' yeah... i told two teachers that i couldn't hold it in... oh well... if they didn't know i was weird already...
then just hung out at the conference for a while... dr hogan talked to me about my study... blah blah blah who cares. then this kid josh tried to convince me to go to the bar with dr cannon and everyone else. dr cannon is crazy... i'd like to stay as far away from him as possible. me and jill call him 'brazilian' hahaha don't ask. but i did say i'd go out and drink if dr karpiak came with us. she said she had to drive home and i said 'oh come on... get WASTED with us... you can sleep at my house!' well if she didn't think i was weird after the pissing comment...
basically i've been studying like a nerd forever. went out saturday because i thought somehow it would be a good idea. got too drunk... couldn't function yesterday...
...i woke up at 3:00 with a pounding headache and a need to throw up...
...i'm really losing my touch... i used to be able to pound them down like nobody's business. i guess i'm just getting old and run down... :P
so today was my first final... criminology. i think i did ok. i'm at the point now though that i don't even care. everyone else i know is out of school and i'm just waiting for this week to be over so i can get wasted with my friends on thursday and just START SUMMER already...
...by the way though... when i left my criminology final my teacher shook my hand and said 'megan it's been a pleasure teaching you. you're a very sweet girl.'
...i gotta start skipping more classes...
