I'm sure you've already heard from plenty of Liverpool FC fans who are outraged and deeply hurt by the insensitivity showed in today's column.

Well, I'm not an LFC fan (I support Arsenal) but I am a soccer fan and a native Bostonian (well, Wakefieldian)- and I'm also massively disappointed in your column.
