I really need to... not... be up at 5am anymore.
Tonight; watching the Les Mis 25th anniversary concert bc i can't go see the movie; start composing elaborate comparison between Javert and the Dalek in 1.06, "Dalek", to wit:
- the Dalek only processes one emotion- hate :: Javert only processes his devotion to the law
- starts out wanting to kill Rose :: starts out wanting to recapture(enslave) Valjean (life sentence?)
- is shown compassion by Rose (also human dna) :: is shown compassion(mercy) by Valjean
- spares Rose as reaction to new emotions :: spares Valjean/Marius as reaction to new emotions
- has trouble processing things like emotions, self destructs :: has trouble processing things like emotions, self destructs
... don't talk to me :(
