before we begin
Okay! I start posting book chapters tomorrow, and I think I need to put in a touch of explanation/ acknowledgement/ etc.
This is effectively the third draft. I’ve already done quite a bit of heavy editing, and roped a few friends into helping me go over it (they have my eternal gratitude, by the way-thanks Beka, Beth). That said, I am not averse to further edits-in fact, I encourage critique, so feel free to put in your two cents. Now, if your two cents resembles “haha u suk,” I reserve the right to roll my eyes and ignore you. But if your comments are thoughtful, I will probably break out the red pen. I have a number of reasons for putting this up in a blog and not just throwing queries around the publishing sphere, and chief among them is that I want to get better as a writer.
