4 boys, down to 1
So, Jovan gives me a ring around 6pm, and invites me to go clubbin’ (again. different guy, tho) :) He’s taking me to a 80s club in Hollywood @ 10pm. We meet @ 9pm, and he looks awesome.
-What’s the first thing I notice in a guy? Joey asked me last night. Eyes, boys, it’s all in the eyes- Jovan’s wearing black eyeliner, nice! He makes a joke about how he should have put on pink eye shadow b/c then we’d match ( as I was wearing pink eye shadow) lol. His hair is gorgeous: black, spiky, high fashion. He’s wearing grey jeans and a classy belt, a black sweater and a grey and black scarf, on his hands are the hott 80s-style black gloves w/the fingers cut off. I’m very impressed w/ his style. He’s not afraid to stand out, and I love that.
We meet his friends- 3 wild and funny 19-24 year old men... They're a lot of fun, yelling out the windows at random people... Good times, man! Somehow, we manage to all squeeze into David’s tiny black Jetta. (Good for snuggling.) When we finally park, the walk to the club begins: endless entertainment. Evan (Jovan informs me) has ADD and is moving the entire time.... dancing in the parking lot, trying to kick the poles hanging down from the roof.
On the sidewalk outside of a mall we see this guy dressed up w/a huge sparkly hat, and a microphone. We had yelled at him when we passed on the way to parking. He’s rapping. We watch for a bit and he asks my name. He raps about me, then gets the guys’ names one-by-one and flows. So funny! We get to the club around 10:30, 1/2 an hour after the “$5 before 10pm” discount, so we have to pay full price, but Jovan pays for me, so it’s all good. We go inside and they’re playing the Cure, Jovan and I head to the bar- as he’s 21 (a nice touch). He takes off his wristband and gives it to me, then gets another, so I won’t have a hard time getting liquor. We order 2 shots of 151, and he’s impressed with my choice of alcohol, and “no-chasing” abilities. As I didn’t eat dinner, I can feel the 151 right away. We dance for a bit (he's a good dancer), but then head off into another room, one w/just couches ;) We make out for a while and he may just be the best kisser I’ve experienced. He knows how to do that little lip biting thing just right… Then we head back out onto the dance floor, and go dance on stage. It's super hot in there, so I check my sweater in the coat check (which he also paid for, I would've just left the sweater behind a couch but he insisted on paying for it). Then we dance, and dance and dance. I was covered in sweat...never have had more fun, tho. I DEFINITELY wanna go back to this club, they play all my fave music (stuff that doesn't get played anywhere else), and it's -coincidence- Jovan's fave too.
So then we go outside b/c it's too hot, and we talk for a while. He's PreLaw and wants to be a lawyer, badass! We talk about art for a bit and meet this other guy who's an artist and fashion designer. Jovan offers to take me to one of the fashion shows b/c I was interested, but it turns out that the guy mostly does the shows at 21+ venues, so that wouldn't work out.
I think we left about 2am, and we cuddled the whole way home while ADD Evan sang a musical he made up- stream of consciousness about what ever popped into his mind. Most of it revolved around his penis or sex- typical guy. It was very funny. Then we were dropped off back at UCLA, and I want to see his room, so we go there. His room mate is polite and leaves, poor guy- just sitting in the lounge... Anyways I finally left his room at 4am, and let me tell you we had fun!! Older men, MMmmm. Talented, man :) I’m seeing him for dinner tonight.
Ya, I’m really glad I’ve met him, this is the happiest I’ve been at UCLA.
