Heyloo! How is everyone doing? I thought I ought to get back into the routine of writing and give all of you an update on what is going on. I have not been officially diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome as I thought that I was; my doctor had a strong suspicion that I suffered from it and put me on medication to treat CFS, but my epstein bar virus test results proved to be very confusing. I am going to see a virologist soon and will be having a gallium scan sometime next week to check for cancer. Do not worry too much, though. The reason that cancer is a possibility is because my epstein bar virus levels were high when I had Burkit's lymphoma. But, I don't have any lumps or bumps that I know of. So, you know, I'm not too concerned at the moment. I am getting better! The doctors did find that my adrenal glands weren't functioning at all (which, you know, kind of explained the whole fainting ordeal) and I am currently on steroids for that. My energy is up enough to function without too much activity. So, basically, friends, I'm doing better. Thanks for all the kind words!
Now that the pity party is over...
Today, I got all of my assignments from my teachers. Thank the Lord above for spring break! And, guess what? Tonight, I am going to watch Dead of Night with my maw maw and uncle. I love old movies. This one is supposed to be creepy, as the title might suggest.
My emotional health is better, too. I'm optimistic because I am starting to feel like myself, again. I was not in a good place before. So, that's very good.
I suppose I'll write more about other things that have been on my mind (and a good deal has been on my mind lately) in a separate entry in the near future. I'm going to go take a nap. Do comment to let me know what all of you have been up to! I'm just too lazy to read everyone's blog entries.
Toodles!
