I just created a new Yahoo! group devoted to Sherlock Holmes fan fiction called The New Strand. Here is the description on the web page:
Welcome to The New Strand! This group is dedicated to the writing and sharing of Sherlockian fiction directly or indirectly based off the stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. So, please feel free to pull up an armchair, fill your pipe, and share with us the previously unknown chronicles of Dr. John Watson; we are all attention.
Rules
1. Constructive criticism and praise are welcome; rudeness is not tolerated.
2. This group's purpose is to share writing based off of the original Sherlock Holmes stories. Please do not post fiction involving characters from other books. We encourage creativity, though, and tolerate the occasional Sherlock in Oz story.
3. Please direct all questions concerning this group to megoobie@yahoo.com.
