Space: Above and Beyond
I just finished watching Space: Above and Beyond for the first time. It pummeled me in the gut. My friend Forest advised that I not watch anything past The Angriest Angel (episode at the start of perhaps the last third of the series). I am glad I ignored him HOWEVER….damn, my guts hurt. The end wasn’t a supreme cliffhanger, but you got the distinct feeling that the producers knew the end was coming and thus didn’t feel obliged to make your ending happy or save some punches.
Did I mention that my guts hurt from all the punching? Ow.
