I actually used that song in my Apprentice Teaching Final Presentation because I taught a lesson about hair and stereotypes for high school. Oddly enough, the song didn't inspire me to write that lesson plan. It was actually those Roosevelt University ads w/the back of people's heads that served as inspiration. But I thought India.Arie's song would be perfect for the presentation.
